Montecito Country Club Wedding...

It was a busy weekend! When you have awesome clients like mine--it's a breeze!

This was a wonderful wedding to be at because I photographed the couple above's wedding a couple of years ago. It feels like being at a family wedding when you know some of the guests. What a nice reunion.

This wedding also had the funniest best man speech I think I have EVER heard---I was having a hard time keeping it together!

Peggy Ann is the amazingly talented editor that goes through every image that I shoot and makes sure they pop! And for all you photographers out there that want to get in on this gem--forget about it--I think I am already working her to blindness! Love you Peggy Ann!!

Her husband is serving our wonderful country in Iraq--these pics are for him! Please pray for all our soldiers as well as the families here waiting for them to return.

Brandie and Jason tie the knot in Paris, France...

Rehearsal Dinner in Paris, France with Jason and Brandie...

The rehearsal dinner took place at this gorgeous chateau outside of Paris. Nick kept whispering in my ear that we could have stayed there all week--he LOVED it! So did I.
It had a little stream with white swans and rolling hills in the distance. It was as if a storybook had opened up before us.

Sister's Session in Malibu...

Looking for wedding shoes...I know they are hard to find!

Wedding shoes can be VERY hard to find. I met with a client today and she said her fiance is 6'4'' and so she wants to wear a heel but the ceremony is in the grass. I have heard this many of times and it brings me back to the days when I sold wedding gowns. I thought I would poke around online to see what I could come up with. I also kept in mind that we wear these shoes for like 10 hours that day. So above are some shoes I found (the first pair I picked especially for my client that needs some height without sinking in the grass). If you find any awesome shoe sites--please email them to me and I will add them to my blog!

Oh, one more thing--there is NO REASON your wedding shoes have to be white/ivory unless YOU want them that way. If you want to add some flare/personality into your outfit--your shoes might be the perfect place to start!

High School Senior Portraits in Ventura...

I have to tell you taking senior photos is getting me a little emotional...As I shoot, off to the side, is a Mom sitting patiently by herself (she looks as though she is soaking in her son) and I think to myself YIKES it won't be long and my little baby Joey will be going to college...makes me savor these times all the more. I know, I know it's like 16 years away--but STILL...time flies! My little dude is turning 2 on April 2nd.
