Katie Moos moved from Minnesota to California 4 short days after getting married to her very loving and supportive husband Nick. Katie was in pursuit of her goal of becoming a wedding photographer. Prior to moving she photographed children in a small studio in Crystal, Minnesota. That’s when the love for photography began. She decided if this was what she wanted to do then going to Brooks Institute of Photography (one of the best photography schools in the world) was a no brainer. While attending Brooks, advertising photography, and food interested her. In her last year she observed several advertising shoots and realized it was not for her. Being a part of people’s family history, recording their most precious days and documenting their children as they grow up had a special place in her heart. Katie graduated from Brooks in 2002 and has been in business in the Santa Barbara area ever since. She has been published in many local and national magazines such as Wedding Dresses Magazine, Your Wedding Day, Wedding Celebrations, Chicago Home and Gardens, Santa Barbara Magazine, and ITEM magazine. This is her passion- “recording family history, building friendships, and being a good wife and mother!”
